From time to time I get into this mood of watching some old classic movies. I do the research, read some reviews, check who plays in the movie.
Elizabeth Taylor is an icon and was a beautiful woman so no introduction was needed.

One day I came across the title Cat on a Hot Tin Roof on TCM channel. The movie got my attention very quickly, it not only has amazing cast - gorgeous Paul Newman is there as well - but the intense atmosphere & well written dialogues. I've seen this movie few times already and I still love it.
Next one was Giant with Rock Hudson, James Dean and Liz. Another great story with alluring plot. If you like one of those movies that show 20-30 years of main characters, that's the one:)
Who's afraid of Virginia Woolf?...well, I am for sure! Elizabeth was great in that role. This film is very intense in fact from the begining.
And we have to mention Richard Burton here, not only for partnering Liz in the movie, but also marrying her in life...twice! He was not the only husband in life as she had been married 8 times...but Burton made it twice to the altar :)

To be honest, am not sure which of those movies I liked the most. But I am sure I liked them a lot because of Elizabeth Taylor. The Academy Awards gave her Oscar for Who's Afraid of Virginia Woolf? in 1966 and 6 years earlier for Butterfield 8.....which is next on my Watchlist of Classics!
Well done and good luck:*!
